My staff and I would like to thank you for visiting our website. We will do everything possible to make your visit enjoyable and provide you with quality treatment which emphasizes prevention. We utilize up-to-date infection control techniques, maintain an emergency medicine kit with defibrillator, and are trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Ours is a patient-centered practice.
My family first came to Clarksville in 1902 when my grandfather, O.T. Rankin, moved to town. I was born and raised here. My educational background includes a B.A. degree from Vanderbilt University in 1973 and a D.D.S. degree from the Univeristy of Tennessee in 1977. I opened my general practice in Clarksville in 1977. I am a member of the Amercian Dental Association, The Tennessee Dental Association, and the Eighth District Dental Society of Tennessee. My family and I attend the Methodist and Episcopalian Churches.
We offer a wide range of treatments including cosmetics, bleaching, porcelain veneers, crowns, bridges, extractions, dentures, root canals, bonded and silver fillings, and preventative sealants for children and adults. Nitrous oxide gas is available for its analgesic effect, but cannot be used on pregnant patients. We coordinate implant surgery with several dental specialists for the replacement of missing teeth. We enjoy working on young people and recommend starting a child at the age of 2.
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. We are closed from noon till 1:00 p.m. each day for lunch. If you need immediate treatment during the work week, call us at (931) 648-3450,and we will do our best to work you in as soon as possible. After hours emergency care is limited and is for patients of record only. My home number is (931) 368-1220.
